Researches supporting e-Government


Within its endeavors to promote collaboration and innovation culture and utilize research resources in the area of e-Government, the e-Government Program (Yesser) seeks to use national resources to conduct the enclosed research work before the end of 2015. Through the research work, Yesser seeks to document the e-Government practices, learned lessons and resolve problems that might have been encountered by some Saudi government agencies during e-transition. Moreover, Yesser would like to identify the prospects of e-Government both regionally and internationally in order to derive innovative ideas that contribute  to its development at the local level. Yesser would be delighted to receive C.V.’s from individuals interested to conduct any of the researches identified in the enclosed list at the following e-mail: (research@yesser.gov.sa). The following conditions shall be observed:

  • ​The candidate should be a holder of degree in disciplines related to the proposed research  subjects​.
  • Applications are open for male and female candidates (Priority will be given to Saudi nationals).
  • (500-1000) words research plan for the proposed subject shall be submitted.
  • C.V. of the candidate indicating previous and present research work (if any).
  • Closing date for application is Saturday 09/10/1436 H corresponding to 25/7/2015.
  • By the end of the application period, shortlisted candidates will be contacted in order to start the research work.
  • Arabic language shall be used in  writing the research. However,  an executive summary shall be submitted in English language​.
  • The targeted research output is  a case study, success story or a research paper with practical applicable objectives.

The research work will be used for the benefit of the e-Government journey with respect to implementation of the e-Government  2nd Action Plan (2012-2016) and as inputs for the 3rd Action Plan expected to be launched in 2017.  Moreover, the research is envisaged to create positive  change and enrich the Arabic content of the e-Government practices.
